At Powderly Meadows, we provide a full day of activities for your dog.  Your dog will socialize with other dogs and people all day.  Whether your dog wants to lounge around in our “living rooms” filled with couches and dog beds or play around in an outdoor area, each will provide the comforts of home.

No matter how you look at it, your pet will have a day to play at our home away from home!

What is Doggie Day Care?
Feeling guilty about leaving your dog home alone while you are at work?  Need a couple of hours to yourself while you run errands?  Looking for a comfortable, at home place where your dog can get the exercise they need while playing with their new found friends?  Then doggie day care is for you and your furry friend.

What are the benefits of taking my dog to Doggie Day Care?
All dogs deserve TREATS: Training Relaxation Exercise and Activities through Socialization!  

Training
During the course of normal interaction with your pet we teach the dogs to respond individually and as a group to basic commands like "sit", "stay", etc.  This helps to reinforce the behaviors they already know and maybe even teach them some new ones. 

Relaxation
Your dog will feel relaxed and at home in our cozy living rooms where they can hang out with other dogs or take an afternoon nap.  We incorporate "break" times into all activities.
 
Exercise and Activities
Powderly Meadows provides a full day of exercise and activities necessary for a happy and healthy dog.  Whether it is normal play amongst their friends or by themselves all activities are supervised by staff.
 
Socialization
By nature dogs are pack animals; therefore, being alone can be distressing and often times leads to destructive behavior.  At Powderly Meadows your dog will enjoy romping and playing with new and old friends all day.

Most importantly it is a lot of fun!

What are the requirements for my dog to come to Doggie Day Care?
Prior to attending Doggie Day Care at Powderly Meadows, all dogs are required to have a current dog license and any dog over 12 months must be spayed or neutered.  The following vaccinations are required and kept up to date:

	Rabies
	Distemper
	Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

All dogs must complete an orientation to ensure he/she can socialize and interact with other dogs and humans without displaying aggressive behavior.  Orientations are a minimum of four (4) hours and can be scheduled any day Monday through Friday.

Can I board my dog at Powderly Meadows?
At Powderly Meadows we offer "Sleepovers" so that your dog can come stay with us.  During the day all dogs attend day care and at night they are crated for safety.

Do you offer any other services while my dog is at Powderly Meadows?
Yes, for your convenience, we offer the following services for your dog; baths, nail trims and ear cleaning.  Contact us for more details.

Can I stop by and visit your location?
Absolutely, visitors are always welcome!
